Mark Dowdall is Editor for Power & Water at MEED, where he reports on major infrastructure, energy and utilities developments across the Middle East. He has extensive experience reporting on business in the Middle East over the last decade including construction, finance, supply chain, logistics and technology. Before joining MEED in August 2025, he held senior editorial roles at ITP Media Group, Terrapinn and CPI Trade Media, where he led coverage, produced industry analysis and interviewed senior executives across global markets. Having lived in both South Korea and the U.S.in his earlier years, he has developed a global outlook that informs his analysis of international markets and regional trends. He has a master’s degree in International Journalism Studies from Dublin City University.
