Muna Alamoodi has joined the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment in 2022 as a Climate Change Advisor. Earlier she was working at the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure as Energy policy expert at the assistant undersecretary office for Electricity, Water & Future Energy and previously she was the Director of Future Energy and Supply Security Department. Managing several strategic projects and a member of several committees, bringing together 15 years of experience in field of sustainability, climate change, carbon management, future energy, environment, and waste management. Mrs. Alamoodi holds a Master of Science: Excellence in Environmental Management from Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University and a Bachelor of Science: Biology from United Arab Emirate University, in addition to being certified for Project Management Professional PMP and ISO Lead Auditor (EHSQ).
