Omar Benaicha has a background in Marine Engineering and holds an Executive MBA from the Institut Polytechnique de Paris, a PhD in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and a Master of Science in Governance and Cybersecurity from INSA Lyon, France.
With over 25 years of experience in Business Assurance and Conformity Assessment across Africa, Europe, and the Middle East, Omar held senior country and regional leadership positions at Bureau Veritas Group for more than 17 years.
He co-founded Certi-Trust Group, an international group specializing in Digital Trust and Sustainability services, where he serves as Chairman of the Board and CEO for Africa and the Middle East. He is also an active mentor and investor in startups operating across EdTech, Cybersecurity, and Cleantech.
Omar is actively involved in several professional and business associations, serving as President and contributing member in fields including Digital Trust, Energy, Materials, Climate, CSR, and Sustainability.
Beyond his professional commitments, Omar is a devoted husband and the proud father of three children.
